Help us get to the finish line!
We’re 3/4 of the way to our goal—
can you help us get to the finish line?
All gifts made by December 31st will be matched dollar for dollar up to $21,500 thanks to our generous business sponsors.
We are so grateful to everyone who has given generously to our year end appeal— thanks to you we’ve met our both match challenges and are now 3/4 of the way towards our goal! Your financial and in-kind gifts as well as volunteer hours have truly kept AIO humming and have allowed AIO to meet the ever-increasing need for assistance.
For perspective here is what we've seen:
During the past 7 weeks alone, AIO has experienced more than 11,000 market visits and 496 NEW households have come for assistance.
In the past year, we have provided over 1 million pounds of food through more than 55,000 visits to our pantry market. That is a nearly 50% increase over last year’s record-setting number of visits! We continue to experience astounding growth. Numbers that were once unheard of are now the norm.
AIO now serves about 12–13% of Knox County residents through one of our six programs, which includes our Energy and Diaper Programs along with our four food-related programs, the Market, Weekend Meals, Self-Serve Food Shelves and new this year, our weekly Home Delivery Program now serving 140 households/week. We are committed to providing assistance to anyone who needs it.
Now as we close out our 35th year, we need your help to reach our year end financial goal which will get us into the new year and through the winter.
We are almost there - will you help us reach the finish line?
Gifts of any amount will make a big difference.
Thanks to the generous support of the community businesses below gifts made between now and the end of the year will be matched up to $21,500.
Thank you in advance for considering a year end gift to AIO. If you've already given to our Annual Appeal please accept our gratitude and heartfelt thanks on behalf of the families we serve.
Will you join in helping us reach our goal with a gift by December 31?
